For my honors project, I decided to create a piece of artwork that illustrator the tendons, ligaments, joints, and bones in a human foot. I started out with simply searching up images that had diagrams of the foot and after looking through various options I narrowed it down to one photo. After I chose the photo I wanted to draw I simply began to sketch out the diagram with pencil. I made sure to only apply so much pressure with the pencil because if I had to erase something I didn't want any eraser marks. I decided to sketch out one half of the photo first and then do the other half to avoid smudge marks. After I sketched out the drawing in pencil I slowly began to color in sections of the drawing, ensuring that all of the shading and blending was precise and I didn't want to rush anything. I worked on this drawing throughout the span of about a month spending time each weekend and on various school nights where I wasn't busy. I chose to do the human foot because I myself have had different injuries relating directly to my foot, so I though it would be interesting to see what exactly is in your foot other than bones. I have attached images of my progress below!
